Aletheia Schmidt Mellott, MA is passionate about exploring ways to help others grow in their relationship with God.
She does this best with paint.
With over a decade of facilitating individual and group times of painting prayers, Aletheia invites young and old into creatively customized times of connection with God.
Aletheia specializes in work with yupo paper and acrylic inks and currently resides outside of Harrisburg, PA with her husband and four kids.
Growing up, when people found out that the most literal translation of the greek word Aletheia meant truth, they almost always asked me if that meant I never lied. We would chuckle together about the pressure of living up to such a name but over the years, the question has been sown into me:
Am I a truth-teller? Am I one who lives from Truth?
For me, the most true thing is God--Parent, Son, Spirit. It’s what I’m most certain of, how I long to anchor my life. And creating space for others to join me in this brings me so much joy.
